Scunthorpe striker Billy Sharp chose a topical celebration after scoring his first goal of the season in his side's 2-2 draw with Swansea on Tuesday night.
Sharp mimicked the enthusiastic celebrations that England's new cricket hero Monty Panesar has demonstrated after bagging wickets in Test matches against Pakistan this summer.
The rest of the Iron side joined Sharp for an exuberant high-five and jubilant dance at Glanford Park.
And Sharp told BBC Sport he got the idea from watching England wrap up their series victory earlier in the day.
He explained: "We had training in the morning and went back to one of the lads' houses. Three or four of us were watching the cricket and we found it funny what Monty was doing.
"We decided we would do the same - and obviously everyone enjoyed it.
"It is Monty's celebration so I will leave him to it now but I thought it would be nice to do it for a laugh when I scored my first goal."
Iron fans became accustomed to seeing Sharp find the net last season when he grabbed 23 goals - making him joint top scorer in League One, with Southend's Freddy Eastwood.
And he was glad to open his account for the new campaign - although his side are still looking for their first win.
"I was delighted to get off the mark," Sharp added. "I didn't manage to get a goal on the opening day and it is always nice to be up and running.
"I've managed that now so hopefully I can kick on now and get a few more.
"It was disappointing in the end only to end up with a point though. We went 1-0 down but they only had 10 men by the end. We went 2-1 up but we couldn't quite close the game out."
Sharp's partnership with another young striker Andy Keogh - who himself netted 15 goals in 2005/06 - attracted plenty of attention last season and the former Sheffield United trainee hopes another fruitful season lies ahead.
"I would like to get over 20 goals again because that shows things are going well but I just want to play well and enjoy my football," said Sharp.
"My performances are important but as a striker so are my goals so I just want to get as many as I can.

"I'm trying to improve with every game I play and with every training session. I am still learning - I am only 20 - and hopefully I can get better and better.
"It is definitely a boost to have that first season behind me.
"I was so pleased with how it went last year. Leaving Sheffield United was one step back but the aim of coming here was to take two steps forward - and if I have another season like last year then anything could happen.
"This season my understanding with Andy will hopefully get a lot better. I am looking to get more goals than last year and so is he.
"That will be hard to do but we are both ambitious and confident lads so we will give it a go."
Despite Scunthorpe's stuttering start, Sharp feels promotion is a realistic aim for himself and his team-mates this season.
He stated: "We made a good start last season but we faded.
"It was purely down to loss of form - we can't blame injuries. I myself scored only one goal in the whole of December and Andy only managed a couple.
"This time, with the squad we have got we are definitely aiming for the play-offs.
"We brought in three or four players in the summer who are good signings and we have looked strong - we were unbeaten in pre-season so we must be doing something right.
"We want to beat our position from last year and if we do we will have a chance. We will see how we go in the first 10 games and then push on from there.
"But with the players that we have got, we should be pushing for the play-offs at least.
"It is a strong division this year though - the three teams that came down from the Championship will all be up there and everyone is tipping Nottingham Forest.
"Teams that have come up into this division have done well in recent years and Cheltenham and Carlisle have both made good starts and I think they have a chance too.
"It is wide open though really. Things tend to pan out a bit after 10 games and you have a better idea then about who is likely to challenge.
"So far this season we have been a bit unlucky and we are still waiting for our first three points but I am sure that will come for us soon."
