Scarborough have signed former Barnsley and Hull City striker Clint Marcelle and ex-Leicester City winger Leon McSweeney in a bid to boost their goal-shy attack. The pair joined the Seasiders on non-contract terms in time to make their debuts at home to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
Marcelle, 34, has also played for Darlington and Scunthorpe, on loan, and made three appearances in the Nationwide Conference earlier this season as a substitute for Stevenage.
McSweeney joined Leicester from Cork City two years ago but did not make a League appearance during his stay at the Walkers Stadium.
