Salisbury City's new signing Sam Pearce is determined to make the most of his chance to play for the Whites.
The 22-year-old central defender made his debut in Tuesday's 1-0 home victory over Ebbsfleet, just 24 hours after leaving Bognor Regis Town.
Pearce, who was spotted by Whites coach Tommy Widdrington, told BBC Radio Wiltshire he enjoyed making his bow.
"It was a lot quicker and more physical," said Pearce. "Hopefully I can prove I'm good enough."
Pearce started his career at Havant & Waterlooville and had been recently made captain at Bognor.

Former Salisbury player Kevin Braybrook, now on the coaching staff at Bognor, recommended a move to south Wiltshire.
"I knew there was a little bit of interest," added Pearce.
"Kev couldn't speak highly enough of the club, and although I did have a couple of offers, I decided that this was the place to come."
