Holmes has had to loan out his big earners recently for financial reasons
Salisbury boss Nick Holmes has said he is worried about the amount of goals his side are conceding after Saturday's 1-1 draw with struggling Northwich.
The Whites have only won one of their last 11 games in the league and FA Cup.
Holmes told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "We are conceding far too many goals. You look at the reasons - fitness, standard of players or a mixture of both.
"We're trying to address it - if we keep the ball better, hopefully they won't get exposed like that."
Salisbury are currently 15th in the Blue Square Premier and have had to get their high earners off the wage bill due to financial problems.
Andy Sandell has joined Aldershot, while Matt Tubbs has moved to Bournemouth and Robbie Matthews has joined Havant & Waterlooville - all on loan.
Captain Aaron Cook, Scott Bartlett and Matt Robinson have all put in transfer requests after their wages were slashed by 30%.
