Salisbury defender Jon Bass says it was not a hard decision to sign a one-year contract extension with the club.

The 32-year-old full-back played 40 games for the Whites last season, and has won two promotions since moving to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

"It wasn't a hard decision at all to make," he told BBC Radio Wiltshire. "I accepted pretty much straight away."

"The club sold itself. I've enjoyed my football, love being at the club and have thoroughly enjoyed myself."

Salisbury have also agreed a first professional deal with 18-year-old winger Jonathan Davies after a series of impressive displays for the reserve team.
