Rushden & Diamonds have signed experienced goalkeeper Nathan Abbey, who was released by MK Dons in May.
The 31-year-old made his Diamonds debut in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Mansfield in Blue Square Premier.
Abbey began his career as a trainee at Luton Town in 1995 and his other clubs include Chesterfield, Northampton, Boston, Torquay and Brentford.
He launched his Rushden career with a clean sheet against the Stags at Nene Park but also picked up a yellow card.
