Slabber failed to earn a deal with Rushden

Slabber, 22, who started his career at Spurs and also had spells with Aldershot, Grays and Oxford before joining Stevenage last January.

He had joined Rushden on a trial basis during pre-season.

Hill has also released former Ipswich youngster Keiron Leabon from his trial spell at Nene Park, and will now look elsewhere for further striking options.
