Rushden and Diamonds have signed experienced defender Paul Watson from Conference rivals Woking. Watson had been offered a new deal by the Cards but has agreed a two-year contract at Nene Park.
The 31-year-old left-back played 18 games for Woking last season following a lengthy League career with Brighton, Brentford, Fulham and Gillingham.
"I've been chasing Paul for some weeks and am delighted he has joined us," boss Paul Hart told his club's website.
