Hart has been out of management since March 2005 |
Rushden & Diamonds have clarified that former Nottingham Forest manager Paul Hart will not be joining the Nene Park coaching staff full-time. Hart, 52, will advise boss Barry Hunter on an unpaid, ad hoc basis.
"I have offered to advise Barry as a personal favour to him," Hart, who has also managed Chesterfield and Barnsley, told the Diamonds' website.
"I have not asked to be paid, and am still looking for a suitable position in football management."
Hunter told the club website: "In Paul, we will have a man of vast experience and know-how about the place.
"It's great for us and an invaluable footballing resource is not wasted."
Rushden are bottom of League Two with 12 matches remaining and are in serious danger of relegation from the Football League.
Diamonds forward Greg Pearson, 20, has joined Conference North side Hucknall Town on a month's loan.
