Roberts made 108 appearances for Crewe where he began his career

Rotherham United have completed the signing of midfielder Gary Roberts, who was without a club.

The 22-year-old former Yeovil player has initially signed for a month, with a view to a season long deal being finalised later in the month.

The Millers also have the option of making the deal permanent in June.

Roberts started his career at Crewe before joining Yeovil in August 2008 but was released this summer. He is available to face Torquay on Saturday.
