Rotherham United have told captain Colin Murdock that he has no future at the club. The 31-year-old has suffered with a number of injuries since arriving at Millmoor in 2005 and will undergo a hernia operation in the next few days.
The Northern Ireland international is out of contract in the summer and and has been told to find another club.
Meanwhile, manager Mark Robins has handed contracts to youth team players Simon Harrison and Jamie Green.
