Cash-strapped Rotherham have received support from their rugby union club neighbours as they continue to battle against the threat of liquidation. Rotherham RUFC, who play in National League One, ground-shared at Millmoor when they were in rugby's Premiership.
Their coach Andre Bester told the Millers' website: "For us, it is very important that there is a good rugby club and football club in Rotherham.
"It would be disastrous if we lost the club," he added.
Liverpool legend Phil Thompson has donated 500 to the Save The Millers campaign - and urged any Premiership player earning more than 100,000 a year to follow suit.
