Brewster scored three goals for County at the end of last season
Former Inverness and Dundee United boss Craig Brewster has agreed to become assistant manager at Ross County.
The 42-year-old joined the Staggies as a player in February, a few weeks after he was sacked from his second spell in charge of Inverness.
Brewster, who played for Forfar, Raith Rovers, Hibs, Dunfermline and Aberdeen as well as the teams he managed, scored three goals in nine appearances.
And the veteran forward will continue to be registered as a player.
However, he will be concentrating on his coaching role and is expected to only be used sparingly as an on-field option next season.
"I've known and admired Craig for a number of years and his arrival at the start of the year was a massive boost to the club, bringing with him as a he did a wealth of experience both as a player and as a coach," said manager Derek Adams.
"His energy, enthusiasm and professionalism set a great example for the players and his knowledge of the game at the very highest level are a great resource to have.
"We have formed a great relationship and are both now looking forward to working with the squad ahead of what promises to be a tough but exciting season."
