Rochdale have parted company with manager Alan Buckley. Buckley has left by mutual consent after failing to revitalise the clubs fortunes since taking over at Spotland in May 2003.
Rochdale are just five points clear of the Third Division drop zone after a poor run of form for which Buckley has paid the price.
He has led the side to just three wins in their last 12 League games and they currently lie in 20th place.
