Kebe was an ever-present for Reading this season before his ban

Jimmy Kebe has been banned for three games after Reading lost their appeal against the winger's sending off at Barnsley on Saturday.

The 24-year-old was dismissed for violent conduct following a clash with Tykes defender Dennis Souza.

The Royals submitted an appeal on the grounds of wrongful dismissal, but a Football Association panel upheld referee Clive Oliver's decision.

Kebe will miss Reading's league games with Blackpool, Norwich and Birmingham.
