Reading will not stand in the way of players wanting to leave, according to first-team coach Kevin Dillon.
Several players have been linked with moves away from Reading since relegation from the Premier League.
Dillon told BBC Radio Berkshire that the club will reluctantly allow unsettled players to leave.
He said: "We won't be selling players cheap. We want to keep every player, but if they're not happy and we get the right price, they'll be allowed to go."
Dillon added he wants the Reading team to start enjoying playing football again after the stresses of the relegation campaign.
"There's serious work to be done, but they've got to enjoy it," commented Dillon.
It gets them away from everything - including their agents - and it calms things down.

"Marcus Hahnemann said, 'Let's have a bit of fun when we're playing'. We need to start smiling again, as we're still a bit down after relegation.
"We need everybody to be happy and content, and to want to go out there a play for Reading."
The Royals play MK Dons in a friendly on Saturday before heading off to Sweden for a pre-season tour.
Dillon stressed the importance of the tour: "Every club needs it. Even second and third division clubs go now.
"We're probably looking at a squad of 20 players - two keepers, 18 outfielders.
"We''ll take the team away to play games and train, and it helps them to bond again.
"It gets them away from everything - including their agents - and it calms things down."
