Reading have signed American international winger Bobby Convey, 21, from DC United for an undisclosed fee. "We expect Bobby to be one of Europe's strongest left-sided players and a force behind our drive to promotion," football director Nicky Hammond said.
"His first touch, pace, leadership - everything we see in Bobby - says he'll have a specatular career as a Royal.
"He has had success at the highest level at an early age and still shows potential," he told the club website.
