Reading defender Graeme Murty has signed a new three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2007. The 29-year-old had one year left on his previous deal, but Reading's player of the season has committed himself to The Championship side.
Murty is the Royals' longest-serving player, making 197 appearances since joining from York City in 1998.
He also won his first Scotland cap last season, coming on as a substitute in the 4-0 friendly defeat to Wales.
