Steve Coppell says Reading need to win their three remaining games to make the First Division play-offs after the 1-1 draw with Crewe. "It looked like a meaningless end-of-season encounter, when in fact we had so much to play for," said Coppell.
"The worst thing we did was score an early goal because after that we just eased off instead of pushing on and going for the jugular.
"We really should have killed the game off after going a goal up," he added.
