Steven Davis urges Kenny Miller to stay with Rangers
Miller has yet to agree a contract with Rangers
Rangers midfielder Steven Davis has urged Kenny Miller to wait until the end of the season before he decides where his future lies.
Miller, 31, is out of contract in the summer but has netted 22 goals so far this term despite having not yet agreed a new deal with the Glasgow club.
"Worst-case scenario, he has to stay until the end of the season for us," said Davis.
"If he decides it's right for him to move after that then it's his choice."
Davis believes Miller would ideally like to remain in Glasgow, but, having witnessed the departures of Kris Boyd and Nacho Novo last summer, is unsure what decision the Scotland international will make.

"For us as a team, with the amount of goals he has scored and the form he has been in, it's imperative that we keep him at the club until the end of the season at least," said Davis.
"I hope he stays. We've seen it with a couple of players over the last couple of seasons, like Boydy and Nacho.
"Unfortunately, the club hasn't been able to offer them deals that they maybe would have liked.
"That's down to each player personally, but I think ultimately Kenny would like to stay and he has enjoyed his time here."
Rangers' scheduled game against St Johnstone on Wednesday fell victim to the weather, denying them the opportunity to build on their 4-1 win at Motherwell ahead of Sunday's Old Firm derby.
Matches against Hearts, St Mirren and Dundee United have also been called off recently, but Davis insists he has no real concerns about a crippling fixture backlog just yet.
"We don't know yet when the games will be re-arranged," said Davis. "And we also have European games after the new year as well, so it's all to look forward to.
"Players would rather be playing games than training anyway, but it will still be a big ask with the amount of fixtures that we have.
"In many ways, a couple of weeks ago the postponements gave us a little chance to regroup and get a couple of people back into training.
"Kyle Lafferty is back now and Maurice Edu isn't too far away. You have to take the positives from a bad situation.
"However, we would rather have had the games on, because the last thing we need is a backlog of fixtures come the second half of the season."
Davis added: "Kyle has been a massive player all season.
"We've probably relied too heavily on him and Kenny to get the goals for us and other people will need to chip in for us in that aspect of the game."
