Bayern defeated Lyon 3-0 in France on Tuesday

Rangers are heading for direct qualification to the Champions League group stages after Lyon lost in this season's semi-final on Tuesday.

If Lyon had won this season's competition and failed to qualify from the French league, Rangers could have been in next season's qualifiers.

But Bayern Munich won 3-0 in France for a 4-0 aggregate win.

Bayern and Wednesday's semi-finalists, Barcelona and Inter Milan, should all qualify from their leagues.
