Novo has been with Rangers since arriving from Dundee 2004
Nacho Novo says that leaving Rangers would be a huge wrench if his spell at Ibrox comes to an end this summer.
The Spanish striker is out of contract at the end of the season and does not yet know if he has a future with the cash-strapped Scottish champions.
"If I need to move, it will be hard," said the 31-year-old.
"This club is like my family. I've made very good friends here and the fans are just the best fans in the world. They have been terrific with me."
Rangers have been restricted in their ability to offer new contracts because of a £31m debt.
Rangers need to raise game - Novo
"I would miss coming through the tunnel and onto the park and seeing that stadium full of fans," said Novo, who joined Rangers from Dundee in 2004.
"That's one of the biggest things I would miss."
Novo has played back-up to Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd for much of this season or been used in a wide right role.
However, he says he is happy for his representative to deal with any contract issues while he focuses on helping Rangers retain the Scottish Premier League title.
"At the moment, there is nothing happening," added the striker.
