Maurice Edu has vowed to force his way into the Rangers first-team after a frustrating start to his Ibrox career.
The midfielder, 22, has struggled since his 2.6m move from Major League Soccer outfit Toronto last August.
"When you're not playing you can let it get you down or you use it as motivation to work harder," he said.
"Being out through injury has been the most frustrating part. But now I'm healthy I'm just focused on training and getting out on the pitch."
The midfielder was named among the substitutes for Rangers' 3-1 home win over Falkirk on Saturday.

And he said he was hungry for first-team football after a month-long lay-off with an ankle injury.
"I want to do my part and get into the team to help out," he said.
The midfielder was philosophical about the current financial situation at Ibrox following confirmation that the club were looking to sell a first-team player in the current transfer window.
"Obviously, in an ideal world we'd like to keep everyone here. Everyone gets on well with each other in the locker room and we know everyone's role," said Edu.
"At the same time, some things are out of our hands. We're just focusing on doing the business on the field and catching Celtic as we try to win the league.
"I'm just happy to be training again. I was out for about a month and that's been the most frustrating part of the season for me.
"Now I'm training again I'm enjoying my football and working hard to get in the team - that's my main focus just now."
