Jean-Claude Darcheville says he wants to stay and fight for his place with Rangers despite the arrivals of three more strikers at the club.
The Ibrox front line has been bolstered by the signings of Kenny Miller, Andrius Velicka and Kyle Lafferty.
"The fact Rangers have brought in three new strikers doesn't worry me - it excites me," said Darcheville.
"I see a lot of potential at Rangers. I love the club and I am settled in Scotland. I don't want to leave."
The Frenchman, who turns 33 next month, was the Glasgow club's second-top scorer last season with 15 goals despite experiencing injury problems.
And the former Bordeaux player was eager to stress he is not seeking an exit from Ibrox, given manager Walter Smith now has eight forwards in his senior squad.
