Darcheville wants Gers extension
Rangers striker Jean-Claude Darcheville
Darcheville has made an impact at Ibrox despite injuries
Rangers striker Jean-Claude Darcheville is hoping to finish his playing career at Ibrox.

The 32-year-old French forward was a summer signing from Bordeaux and has hit eight goals in an injury-disrupted first season in Scotland.

Darcheville's contract runs until the end of next season and he would jump at the chance to stay for longer.

"I really enjoy it here and the football is good; my family is settled and I would love to finish at Rangers."

"I have a year left on my current deal after this season but I would be very happy if that was extended," Darcheville continued.

"It is up to the club of course, but I would like to stay."
