Rangers have completed the signing of goalkeeper Neil Alexander from Ipswich Town on a three-and-a-half year deal. A fee has been accepted by the Championship side for the 29-year-old Scotland international.
Alexander told the SPL leaders' website: "As soon as I knew Rangers were interested in me, I didn't have to thin twice about coming here.
"It's a fantastic chance to join one of Europe's biggest clubs. I'm grateful to Ipswich for not standing in my way."
Alexander, capped three times, moved to Portman Road from Cardiff City in July 2007 and has previously had spells with Livingston and Stenhousemuir.

The Edinburgh-born goalkeeper has made 29 appearances for Magilton's men this season and has also played at both Scotland Under-21 and B levels.
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told the club website: "It's a dream move for him and we couldn't stand in his way.
"He's back in the Scotland squad and we know he wants to enhance his ambitions.
"It's a great opportunity for him and we wish him well."
Alexander's capture should allow the transfer of Roy Carroll from Rangers to Derby.
Rangers had blocked the deal until they had signed another back-up to first-choice Allan McGregor.
