Webster and Smith are on the road to recovery with Rangers |
Stevie Smith and Andy Webster are poised to end their long injury absences by returning to competitive action with Rangers' reserves. Left-back Smith has been sidelined for more than a year with groin and stomach muscle injuries.
But the 22-year-old played in a bounce game this week against Motherwell.
Central defender Webster has played just once since picking up a knee injury last January, shortly after arriving on loan from Wigan Athletic.
The 25-year-old returned in October, scoring against Gretna, was sidelined by an ankle injury but then required a second operation on his knee.

There were fears that Smith might be forced to retire through injury despite operations to solve his pelvic problem.
But Rangers have stressed that "finally, he seems to be clear".
And he and Webster could now face Kilmarnock's second string on Monday.
