Smith was unhappy with Rangers' last home appearance |
Rangers manager Walter Smith was disgruntled after seeing his unbeaten domestic record broken by Kilmarnock. "We didn't deserve anything," he told BBC Sport after the 1-0 defeat at Ibrox. "We lacked the edge we've had in recent months.
"We were hoping to remain unbeaten until the end of the season, so there was motivation.
"But we never reached any sort of level. It was a disappointing result and a disappointing performance."
Rangers fans gave departing duo Dado Prso and Stefan Klos a standing ovation after the match.
The pair were joined in the centre circle by Gavin Rae, who is also leaving Ibrox in the summer.
"They have both been good servants of the club and both have been popular players in the dressing room and on the terraces," said Smith.
"It's always disappointing when you see players go, especially in Dado Prso's case, whose injury is causing him to finish.
"Stefan Klos is slightly different in that he felt it was time to retire."
