Gavin Rae joined Rangers from Dundee |
Gavin Rae admits that his Rangeres career could be coming to an end after two years at Ibrox. The 29-year-old midfielder says he does not want to leave the club but that he might have to move on if he continues to be out of the first-team picture.
"I don't want to leave Rangers, but I have to think of my career," said Rae.
"I have not been involved much this season and if I am not going to play in the second half of the campaign then it might be better to move on."
Rae's Rangers career has been plagued by a series of knee injuries since he arrived from Dundee.
And he has failed to establish himself as anything other than a fringe player during his two years at the club.
Now, although his contract expires in the summer, he could quit in January in search of first-team football elsewhere this season.
