Chris Burke is out with a shoulder injury |
Rangers manager Paul Le Guen revealed that Chris Burke has been made an offer
to stay at Ibrox - despite the winger being injured until Christmas. The 22-year-old Scotland international is in the final year of his contract.
And Le Guen told Rangers World: "The injury situation should not affect our
contract talks with Chris.
"We want him to stay, but it is up to him to decide. He is a good player and a Scottish boy so there are many, many reasons for us to want to keep him."
Burke suffered a third injury of the season on 23 September and underwent surgery to repair damaged ligaments in his left shoulder.
"We have made him an offer already and the talks will carry on," he said.
"I am hopeful we can conclude these talks in a satisfactory manner and the chairman and chief executive Martin Bain feel the same way."
