Bardsley is on loan from Manchester United |
Rangers defender Phil Bardsley admits he is still considering whether he should pledge his international future to Scotland or England. The youngster, who is on-loan at Ibrox from Manchester United, is entitled to play for Scotland because his father was born in Glasgow.
"It's been mentioned before and it's something I need to think about over the next few months," he said.
"But my main priority right now is focusing on my club football."
Bardsley misses Manchster united's forthcoming Champions League clash with Celtic but insists he would much rather be at Rangers.
"I'm here to play for Rangers now," he said. "I spoke to Alan Smith yesterday and he's raring to go for the game against Celtic.
"I think United are confident and there's no reason why not.
"They got off to a great start and will be hoping to get a result against Celtic."
