Fernando Ricksen incurred the wrath of Paul Le Guen |
Fernando Ricksen's future at Rangers remains unclear, with manager Paul Le Guen admitting he does not know if the Dutchman will play for the club again. Ricksen has been undergoing treatment for "anger and behavioural management" after being sent home from South Africa over an incident on the flight there.
"I spoke with him this week, but we didn't speak about his return. I wanted to know how he felt," said Le Guen.
"We will see (if he will stay at the club). It depends on many things."
Ricksen will definitely miss Saturday's friendly against Middlesbrough, as will the injured Barry Ferguson and Chris Burke.
"The team I pick won't be too far from the one which starts in the first league game," added Le Guen.
"It depends on the performances of the players, but it won't be too far away."
