Darcheville previously turned down the chance to join Rangers |
Jean-Claude Darcheville admits he would jump at the chance to join Rangers now that Paul Le Guen has been confirmed as the Glasgow club's next manager. The Bordeaux striker was a target of Alex McLeish in the January transfer window but opted to remain with the French club.
Darcheville said: "Does the arrival of Paul Le Guen at Rangers make me change my mind? To be honest, yes.
"If I should make a new thought in the summer, this time it'd be different."
It is being predicted that Le Guen's reputation in his homeland, after a successful spell with Lyon, is likely to see a number of French players consider a move to Ibrox.
"Why not Rangers?" said Darcheville. "When you go abroad, it is better to know the coach is a Frenchman and he knows to use you in the best way."
