 Jean-Claude Darcheville is with Bordeaux |
Rangers will not be pursuing French striker Jean-Claude Darcheville, according to the player's agent. Karim Djaziri told BBC Sport on Sunday that he expected Rangers to make an offer for the 30-year-old in January.
But, speaking to The Herald, he said: "Jean-Claude will not go to Rangers. It's a little disappointing because he respects (Ibrox manager) Alex McLeish.
"You will have to ask them for the full reasons but perhaps they have decided to build with younger players."
Earlier this week, Darcheville, who is out of contract at Bordeaux in the summer, claimed to have rejected a move to Rangers in the close season.
