The De Boer twins plan to finish their careers in Qatar
The De Boer twins plan to finish their careers in Qatar
Dutch defender Frank de Boer will follow his twin brother Ronald from Rangers to Qatar club Al-Rayyan.

The veteran international, who is at Euro 2004 with Holland, made 15 appearances for the Ibrox side after moving to Glasgow in January.

Ronald, who enjoyed four seasons at Rangers, signed a deal with Al-Rayyan earlier this month.

Both twins, aged 34, have agreed one-year deals with the Doha-based club and will end their careers in Qatar.

The de Boers will team-up with former Real Madrid captain Fernando Hierro and ex-Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Bassler at Al-Rayyan.

The twins have played together at Ajax and Barcelona before their spell in Scotland.
