Laurie Ellis is one of five new signings for Raith
Raith Rovers have signed five players as they attempt to overcome the disappointment of missing out on promotion to Division One.
Defender Laurie Ellis returns for a third stint with the Kirkcaldy club after leaving Stirling Albion.
Midfielder Mark Ferry has signed after leaving Queen's Park.
Goalkeepers David McGurn and Gary O'Connor arrive from Morton and Berwick Rangers, while defender Andrew Cook comes from Edinburgh University.
Rovers manager John McGlynn told his club website: "Andrew gained international recognition by playing for the Scotland Universities team and was recommended by Hearts legend John Robertson.
"Both Paul Smith and I have watched him and we feel he has great potential, as he is very comfortable in both full back positions."
McGlynn sees Ellis as an ideal replacement for Marco Pelosi, who has returned to Hearts at the end of his loan deal.
