Queen of the South have signed Leon Knight until the summer after the striker was released by Hamilton.
The 26-year-old has previously had spells with for Chelsea, Brighton, Swansea, Rushden & Diamonds and joined Accies in August.
Queens manager Gordon Chisholm said: "He has a good pedigree and I reckon he'll be a good addition to the squad."
Meanwhile, midfielder Stephen McKenna has signed a one-year extension to his contract with the First Division club.
The 24-year-old joined Queens from Airdrie United in August and has made 18 appearances for the Dumfries side.
Knight made only one start and six substitute appearances for Accies but will be hoping that he can follow McKenna by winning a longer-term deal.
