Chisholm's Doonhamers are now in their first semi-final since 1950
Queen of the South manager Gordon Chisholm paid tribute to a terrific strike by Ryan McCann against Dundee to clinch a Scottish Cup semi-final place.
"For Ryan to hit the ball from 70 yards was remarkable - he has great vision and it was a great goal," he told BBC Sport after the 2-0 quarter-final win.
"It was a fantastic atmosphere today and to get some recognition is great.
"We'll enjoy the semi-final, but obviously playing Celtic or Aberdeen is going to be very difficult for us."
McCann struck after visiting keeper Craig Samson went up for a corner in the last minute to aid the search for an equaliser, after Stephen Dobbie had fired the hosts in front.
And Chisholm added: "Dundee put us under pressure but Stephen Dobbie was at his best to open the scoring for us.
"This was old-fashioned cup football at it's best today."
