Ledesma made 17 appearances during his spell at QPR
QPR are considering taking Argentine playmaker Emmanuel Ledesma back to Loftus Road on a free transfer.
Ledesma joined Rangers on a season-long loan from Genoa in 2008 and initially impressed, but later went back to Italy after falling out of favour.
He has now returned to Rangers on trial with a view to signing a contract if he impresses manager Neil Warnock.
Since leaving QPR, the 22-year-old has played for Italian clubs Salernitana, Novaro and, more recently, Crotone.
QPR agreed a fee of around £2.2m with Genoa for Ledesma's permanent signing when he moved to west London on loan.
He produced a number of eye-catching early performances, particularly when scoring a hat-trick against Carlisle in the Carling Cup, but then struggled to make an impact.
