Queens Park Rangers midfielder Mikele Leigertwood has signed a new two-year deal which will keep him at Loftus Road until the summer of 2012.
Leigertwood, 27, signed for Rangers in August 2007 and has become a first-team regular, making 111 appearances.
"I've really enjoyed my two and a half years here so far and I'm really pleased to be extending my stay with the club," he told the club website.
"I genuinely believe there's a very bright future at the club."
The former Sheffield United player was brought to Loftus Road by John Gregory in a £900,000 deal.
