Spanish midfielder Jordi Lopez is discussing a new contract with QPR.
The former Sevilla and Mallorca man, 28, made 10 appearances for Rangers last season after joining them on a three-month deal.
Liam Miller is among five players released by the London club, but Lopez has been offered the chance to stay.
His agent, ex-R's midfielder Alex Bonnot, said: QPR offered a contract and Jordi is considering his options. There are discussions going on."
Lopez had a spell with Real Madrid before winning the Uefa Cup with Sevilla in 2006.
He was signed by the then QPR coach Paulo Sousa after being released by Mallorca earlier this year.
