QPR coach Paulo Sousa is hopeful that Dexter Blackstock and Wayne Routledge will return for Saturday's game with Bristol City at Loftus Road.
The attacking duo missed Tuesday's 1-0 Championship victory over Swansea.
And Sousa told BBC London 94.9: "Dexter has a hamstring injury and because it is a muscle injury we need to assess it day by day. "Wayne took a kick on his knee and it swelled up, so we took him for a scan but it is nothing to worry us."
After winning their first game in ten, QPR are now seven-points adrift of the Championship play-off places.
