QPR say they have received no approach from Nottingham Forest for Lee Camp.
The keeper recently had a spell on loan at Forest and has declared his interest in returning to the City Ground.
But Rangers insist a 1m transfer fee was agreed when Camp, 24, moved on loan and Forest did not take up their option to sign him.
If Forest were to make an offer for Lee we would consider it, but we havent heard anything from them," said QPR sporting director Gianni Paladini.
Forest know what they need to do if they want to sign him, because it was agreed when he went there on loan."
Camp was made available for a move earlier this season and was loaned to Forest in October with a view to completing a permanent switch once the January transfer window opened.
But he ended up back at Rangers when his loan period expired, and his hopes of returning to the east Midlands appeared to be crushed when Billy Davies took over as Forest manager.
Davies was Camps boss at Derby, where the former England Under-21 international fell out of favour and was eventually sold to QPR following two successful loan spells at the club.
Camp has since declared that he never had a cross word with Davies and would be still consider signing for Forest.
But Paladini added: Were talking about a player who has been back in our team recently and has two-and-a-half years left on his contract here. Were not looking to give him away.
