Parejo had been linked to Arsenal earlier this summer
QPR have signed Real Madrid midfielder Daniel Parejo on a one-year loan.
The 19-year-old scored the 85th-minute winner for Madrid against Hamburg in Saturday's Emirates Cup match at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
The Spain Under-19 international said: "Spanish players are having are having great success in English football.
"For me it's a challenge and for me the only target is to achieve our objective, which is to get into the Premier League."
"All the Real Madrid players have advised me to try to use this year to learn as much as possible and to use this opportunity in English football," he added.
"It was an opportunity to change things, in Spain things were going very well but this opportunity came about and it was a good chance and I hope things go well at Queens Park Rangers.
"If I wasn't convinced that QPR wasn't very ambitious I wouldn't have come. My objective is to come to this team, I have felt this ambition and I am convinced we will achieve our objective."
