QPR coach Luigi De Canio is due to return to work on Monday afternoon following the death of his father. De Canio flew back to his native Italy on Saturday and missed his side's 3-0 win over Bristol City.
Meanwhile, Rangers have turned their attention to American Matt Pickens, 25, in their search for a goalkeeper to act as back-up for Lee Camp.
Pickens's contract with Chicago Fire has expired and he has been offered the chance to move to Loftus Road.
