Jones scored six goals in his debut season for QPR |
Queens Park Rangers players will all carry Ray Jones's name on the back of their shirts in Saturday's home Championship game against Southampton. The Football League has cleared the tribute to teenage striker Jones, who died in a car accident last weekend.
QPR manager John Gregory told the club's website: "We have decided that this would be an appropriate way of publicly remembering Ray."
The club will then retire the number 31 shirt, which Jones wore last season.
