 Paladini has taken over at Loftus Road |
Gianni Paladini has been named as the new chairman of Queens Park Rangers. Interim chairman Gualtiero Trucco has stepped down and Paladini was appointed unanimously by the Loftus Road board.
He said: "I am deeply honoured that the directors have allowed me this opportunity. I believe these are wonderful times to be a QPR supporter."
Paladini added: "We have a wonderful manager in Ian Holloway, an exciting and improving squad and a real opportunity to push for the play-offs."
He said: "I believe we now have the right people in place, both on the pitch and behind the scenes, to take the club forward.
"It has never been clearer to me that, both in the stands and behind the scenes, this is a wonderful place full of very special people."
