Royce signs new loan deal at QPR
Simon Royce
Royce rejoined Charlton on a free transfer from Leicester in 2003
On-loan goalkeeper Simon Royce is set to stay at Queens Park Rangers for another month.

The Charlton player returned to Loftus Road four weeks ago, having spent previous loan spell at the club between 2002 and 2003.

Addicks boss Alan Curbishley confirmed that Royce would be allowed to stay until 12 March.

But 33-year-old will be on a 24 hour 'call back' and can return to the Valley at any stage if he is required.

He first signed for Charlton in 1998 and left in 2000 to join Leicester, where he was loaned out to Brighton, Manchester City and QPR.

Royce, who rejoined Charlton on a free transfer from Leicester in June 2003, has made one first team appearance for the Addicks this season.
