Queens Park Rangers have formally completed the signing of winger Gareth Ainsworth. The former Wimbledon winger, who ended last season at Cardiff City, finalised his move to Loftus Road on Tuesday despite strong interest from a number of First Division clubs.
Ainsworth said: "I'm really excited. There were other clubs interested but there's no doubt that QPR is the right club for me.
"It's a big club in the wrong division that's been through a tough time. Hopefully I can help them get out of Division Two because they don't belong there."
