Preston North End have signed Coventry defender Elliott Ward on loan until the end of the season.
Ward, who has been on loan at Doncaster since February, joined Coventry from Plymouth in June 2006.
The 25-year-old has made 116 appearances for the Sky Blues but has found himself out of favour under manager Chris Coleman.
He will go straight into Darren Ferguson's squad for Tuesday's clash with Middlesbrough.
